Woodlands Pre-School is a Charity run pre-school situated on the boundaries of the New Forest. We welcome all children from 2 years to 5 years.

Woodlands is a small pre-school which has been running successfully for many years.

Lisa and her staff are very friendly, caring and approachable and are always on hand to meet the children’s needs. The staff are dedicated to the pre-school and have worked there for a number of years.

We have a designated member of staff who is the SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator ) Lisa Priddle  who can use Makaton, visual timetables and are able to liaise with outside agencies as required to meet your child's needs.

The pre-school has many wonderful facilities, including a very large field and their very own allotment which the children grow, tend and harvest their own produce under the watchful eyes and green fingered Lisa and Janet. We also have a very impressive outdoor classroom which is used daily for many learning activities. Please see the virtual tour video below for a better look.

We aim to promote children's development in a happy, stimulating and safe environment 

During the sessions the children get to participate in free play and small group activities as well as singing and games in a larger group. Some of the activities the pre-school offer are as follows:

• Seed planting
• Painting
• Baking
• Crafting
• Puzzles
• Board games

We are not an outdoor pre-school but do have access to a lot of outdoor space which we use to the fullest in all weathers, but do bring the children inside periodically throughout the day.

We are able to offer a choice of sessions. These include whole day session,morning or afternoon sessions.
